Help Us

How can you help the Pegasus Centre?

Hands togetherEach week at the Pegasus Centre, home of Morpeth Group RDA, we provide a wonderful experience for over 100 youngsters and adults with physical, mental and sensory disabilities.

Those who come to ride at the Pegasus Centre develop skills they never knew they possessed and develop their confidence, with many riders taking part in competitions and other events and achieving rewarding success as a result.

We help hundreds of people, young and old, experienced riders or novices, including people with a wide range of disabilities, to discover the joys of horse-riding.

To do this we rely on an team of volunteers, sponsors, fund-raisers and other supporters.

We are always looking for more people to join our team – are you ready to join us?

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are the life-blood of the Pegasus Centre. Working alongside our small group of staff they help look after our ponies, they assist riders in lessons, they look after the grounds, they organise fundraising events and activities and they help in a myriad of other ways.

Adopt A Pony

“Adopting” one of our lovely horses or ponies is a great way to help The Pegasus Centre. You can become the “owner” of one of our ponies.  Your contribution will help us feed and care for the ponies – including meeting their veterinary, farrier and physio bills.  In return you get:

  • A Certificate of Adoption.
  • A photograph of your chosen pony
  • A card featuring your pony.
  • The opportunity to visit your pony at the Pegasus Centre.
  • Regular information about your pony.

You can Adopt a Pony here on our website. Your pony is only a click away!
