Orienteering

The Pegasus Centre has a permanent Orienteering Course that provides an ideal opportunity to learn about a sport that challenges both mind and body. You need to find your way around a series of marker points using map-reading skills.

The design of our course means that it is suitable for everyone – including those with learning difficulties.

Geocaching

Geocaching is a new outdoor activity that is taking the world by storm.

A geocache is something hidden somewhere on Earth and the activity involves trying to find the hidden items using a GPS device such as a smart phone to find the GPS coordinates. There are estimated to be over 2 million active geocaches and over 6 million geocachers worldwide. At the Pegasus Centre we can introduce you to this exciting new activity and help you become a geocacher!
